Children's Portrait Photography - Cornelius Kids' Day

October 11, 2013  •  2 Comments

One of the Keck family's annual traditions is to drive to Cornelius Nursery for their Kids' Day.  What is Kids' Day?  It is a great time for kids to decorate pumpkins, see magic shows, and be read storybooks.  I know that the twins really enjoy themselves here.  For my wife, it is a time to pickup Halloween decorations for the house.

I like to take photographs here since they have A LOT of very nice, beautiful pumpkins.  They make great scenery for photographs.  I also like to see what kind of creations the twins will make with their free pumpkins.

When the twins decorate their free pumpkin, they concentrate very hard and are very deliberate on everything they color or paste on the pumpkin.

The little pumpkins were a little too heavy for Audrey, so Amy had to help support the pumpkin so Audrey could show off her final pumpkin creation!

William had been eating his Wheaties, so he didn't need Amy's help.  (He was straining a little bit which explains the pursed lips and frown.)

The twins love pumpkins and Audrey even helped to pick out the Keck family's pumpkin from this large pumpkin patch.

So, what are you thoughts?  Do you have any fall traditions?

These are precious children. How wonderful years from now it will be to have all the photos to remember them as little ones.
They look so loved.

Great pictures, even if I'm a little biased!
