On May 29, 2014, Dr. Emile Geneux, Dr. Beth Harvey Geneux, and their twin daughters Emmy and Evelyn welcomed a new daughter and sister into their family: Georgia Lain Geneux. I had the pleasure of having the opportunity to photograph this beautiful baby.
Before I arrived at the Geneux's house to meet Georgia, I saw some iPhone photos of Georgia, and I thought Georgia was going to be a big baby. Well, I was very surprised when I saw this tiny, precious, and beautiful baby girl. She was only 3 days old.
Unfortunately, I did not have as much time as I had hoped to develop all of my artistic ideas. Between the feedings and tinkles, I only had about 30 minutes to capture this beautiful baby.
It wasn't very long after I took this last photograph that little Baby Georgia had an eruption that signaled the end to this infant portrait session.
Even though I only had about 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to capture these beautiful images of Baby Georgia, I was at the Geneux's house for almost 90 minutes. During the period where Baby Georgia was busy doing her thing, I was able to capture some wonderful photographs of her sisters, Emmy and Evelyn, who are 3 years old.
I am very happy that I was able to photograph Emmy with Baby Georgia in her Daddy's arms. I am sure they will love this photograph when they are much older while remembering this wonderful addition to this very blessed family.
Which of the photographs of Baby Georgia do you like the most?
If you are pregnant and would love to capture this very fleeting moment with your newborn, please contact me. The best time to photograph a newborn is within the first week after it is born while the baby is still able to sleep very still uninterrupted.
