This past week, I was making a storybook album for the years 2010 through 2012 for the Keck family. I was compiling A LOT of photos for a 25 page album. Of course, while looking through these photographs, a lot of memories flooded back to me: the twins' first Halloween costumes, the twins' meeting their first baby cousin Amelia (who is also my goddaughter), and the innocence that only a child possesses.
As part of making this album, I needed a self-portrait for the preface of the album. Of course, since I am 99.9% of the time behind the camera, I do not have many photographs of myself. Therefore, I had to make a self-portrait for the album.
While I was in the process of taking this self-portrait with the help of Amy, my four year old daughter Audrey jumped in front of the camera. I was pleasantly surprised with the exuberance and the many comic faces that she displayed. I know that I love to make faces to make the twins laugh, and I can only hope that she might have "stolen" some of my looks!
Here are some of these photographs that I love. She can sometimes be such a hoot!
After all of these crazy photos, Audrey can still be a calm, beautiful girl.
So, what are you thoughts? Please leave a comment (or two) below! Thanks!
